Roommate challenge.. Idea two

My roommates and I made a list one day of all the restaurants we haven't tried in Athens but really want to go too. You know, the ones you forget about when it's time to pick a place for dinner (thats how we always end up at Ru Sans). So far it has worked great. We stuck it on our fridge and now we have seen more of what Athens has to offer before we graduate and regret not venturing out more.

Idea Two. make a list of restaurants, of all types, and price ranges. Then make a pact with some friends to eat at least once at all of them. If you need help with ideas in places i could help, or you could visit DawgFood a great place for ideas!

  1. That's a great idea! Could you post a list of restaurants you suggest?

  2. Some of my favorites..

    1. Piquantes- great for dates, but meals are small (tapas)
    2. East West- Great anytime, but a little more pricey
    3. Hilltop Grill- Great to take parents, it isn't downtown so parking isnt stressful
    4. Big City Bread (artsy vibe, go for breakfast!)
    5. Farm 225 -Pricey but food is unique and all organic, but the kind of organic guys would still like. (also has great breakfast, and live music at night)
    6. Lumpkin Cafe- located at 5 points, great side of town (lunch place)
    7. Porter House- usually pricey but great. If you go for breakfast they have a great 10 dollar deal.
    8. The Grill - most go atleast once and try the feta dip for your fries. (its more of a late night diner, open 24 hours!)
    9. The Last Resort- great food, but the wait to be seated can be long. Also great breakfast.
    10. Mellow Mushroom- great pizza
